Registered Clinical Counsellor

R.C.C. #24201

I grew up in the Cowichan Valley, where I spent time playing hockey and exploring combat sports. These experiences taught me two important lessons: first, that concussions can have a significant impact on mental health; and second, that processing trauma in a healthy way is essential for moving forward in life.

My journey to becoming a counsellor began with a focus on teaching. I pursued a degree in education, however, I quickly realized that the teaching role didn’t provide the opportunity to engage in the work I felt called to do. This led me to pursue a Master’s in School Counselling and become a Registered Clinical Counsellor.

In private practice, I work with adults, families, couples, and youth. My goal is to create a collaborative space where clients can connect with their authentic selves and discover their capacity for healing. I take a person-centered approach that prioritizes the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for growth. From there, I integrate a variety of modalities. Together, we will work toward greater clarity, stronger connections, and the empowerment to embrace the strength that already exists within you.
